What ringtone are you using now?

I don't use any of those. I use The Imperial March on my phone. I've never heard anyone using it, so I know when I hear it, it is my phone ringing.

If you consider the iPhone 4S as a new phone, the next gen iPhone would be the 6th generation.

Inb4 arguments about the name.

I think they will add some new ring tones, or allow them to be downloaded.

I was always curious as to how iPhone ringtones are orchestrated. I think signature ringtones do get old over time.

So, with the new iPhone, we would most definitely be getting new ringtones. I wonder what it would sound like and who they'll hire to compose!

BTW: I use Marimba.

I use that on my phone for one of my friends. I have a TON Of star wars music in my phone, Cantina theme, the fight music with Darth Maul, a ton of lightsaber text tones, and of course "Don't Make Me Destroy You".

It seems like we always get around 2-3 new ones for each text tones and ringtones. Sometimes more.

I use Old Phone.

Figures, doesn't it?:D

I like it because it doesn't sound like anyone else's phone. The only problem is that I watch old movies, and every time the phone rings in the movie I grab my phone - or ignore my phone when it rings because I think it's in the movie. :p

Not too bright, but I'm harmless.:p

I like the new ones that just came out the uh..

*scrolling through phone*

Update, Typewriters, and Calypso

I used to use the bell one, that's a good one. I stopped using it though.

Sure it does. With the sixth iPhone would we be getting new ringtones. We didn't get any new ones with the fifth iPhone. But we could with the sixth.

Yah i understand that, but read the title, then OP asks what we are using now, rather than expanding on the question of new ringtones in the new iPhone.

Why do you they need to add new ones, when you can already add whatever you want?

Also this right here.

It's two questions in one. A kind of compare and contrast with the ringtones of today vs the future.

All products come with their own sound scheme.

Everyone knows and loves the iPhone ringtones.

How will Apple breathe new life into their brand?

If this is true....

Apple doesn't need new ringtones to spice up the phone. Beyond this, anyone who owns an iPhone is more than capable of putting their own custom ringtones on the phone, so in essence the option is already there.

Well, we don't really need a new iPhone. But I actually think that we'll see new ringtones in the evolution of the OS and not the new phone. Like say, iOS 6 will come with new ringtones.

iOS 6, think about that. I'm exciting myself.

Some of you posters are feisty.

We're just talking about ringtones.

I don't care which ones they use, they need to fix the poor sound quality of the ringtones. The text tones sound fantastic, ringtones like garbage.

Nuke thread from orbit. Ban OP.

Only way to be sure.
