RIP 4870? 'Save me Jeebus'!

Hi all
I recently acquired an Asus Dark Knight 1Gig and attempted to flash it using the netkas guide: http://netkas.org/?p=90

After many long hours of reading tutorials and getting touched in a bad bad place by the big long thread and 'race to dump' thread etc,

i finally flashed the damn card using a cd and ultimateboot and now if its installed in the tower, it stutters the mac boot sound.
oh and i may have flashed it with just 1 power connected
is it toast? im away from my workshop and dont have a pc handy to test the card.
Any advice appreciated.

dont think the asus has ever been tested

power connector does not matter

you need pc to reflash (and pray it can be detected)

More than likely you will need a PC to reflash card.

You will need to write yourself a ROM when you are done if nobody has done this card before.

I have standing offer to fix any such cards if you can't. I am in Los Angeles but am able to reflash most cards. What won't flash I simply replace the EEPROM and start fresh.

But clever use of a PC will get you through, more than likely.
