Rip + compress TV episodes from DVD?

What is the easiest way for me to rip and compress TV episodes from DVDs?

I just want a program that will accurately identify the different tv episodes and compress them, as handbrake's chapters aren't necessarily the different episodes.

I just want a program that will accurately identify the different tv episodes and compress them, as handbrake's chapters aren't necessarily the different episodes.

Honestly I'm yet to run into that problem with Handbrake, it's pretty easy identify the episodes from the Titles menu (not the Chapters) menu - the episodes are all the ones that run for either ~20 minutes or ~40 minutes.

Blackadder Goes Forth, the ~30 minute-long titles are the individual episodes:

Just enable the queue, select the first title, set your parameters and click "Add to Queue" then repeat with each appropriate title.
