I have some dvds which i want to:

copy to a 4,7gb dvd disc. And Rip it, in acceptable quality for watching on pc

Freeware prefered.

Wait, you want to take a DVD, copy it, and make it into another DVD to watch on a computer?

How about you just hold up a Blockbuster?

You're only doing this because the DVD isn't yours, right? It is illegal to do that. You won't get help from us.

Actually no. Im against that. (i have a friend which works with movies, so it would be like stealing)
And arent there copy protection these days?

Nevermind, its a movie made in school, and i said that i could copy it for us who made it. And alot of us have external harddrives, so i also need a rip to computer.

Yeah, because that can't be circumvented...:D

Doesn't your school have a DVD duplicator? It'd be a dedicated machine for the duplication of disks.

MacTheRipper can give you a straight, full-size file rip.
