RIP iPhone 5

It's not the way apple does things.
Apple never discontinued an iPhone after one year.
The iPhone 5 will still be around after Tuesday.

Those are the things I was told when I said the iPhone 5 was getting discontinued. Apple is a company. They are in business to make money. There was no way the would introduce a phone that's plastic and have the same insides and keep an old flagship. It's all about profit margin. Does it mean the iPhone 5 is a bad phone? No it's a great phone... It's all abou making more money. Sales of the 5C will probably be very good

5c is a downgrade for would be 5-owners

Well, I have an iPad 3 so I learned my lesson

But, to me, 5c is a downgrade for would-be Apple 5er's. Think about it: If Apple did not introduce the C, they would have discounted the 5 by $100, making it $99 on contract. Now, for $99 on contract you get the same phone, except made of plastic.

Oh well.
