Another talented and unique musician taken away from us far too soon. Trish Keenan led experimental pop band Broadcast since the mid-90s; despite numerous lineup changes and shifts in their sound, they never failed to engage, beguile, and bewitch.

She contracted H1N1 in Australia and passed away from complications from pneumonia back in England.

Found out today from Marc Riley's 6Music show.:( Only have 'The Noise Made By People' after hearing them on John Peel's show. Should have more, the combination of her voice and the music, ethereal.

Edit - Gideon Coe 6Music playing their appearance as part of John Peel's Meltdown. Probably be on iPlayer later.

Well, then, you've got a lot more to discover. 'Haha Sound' and 'Tender Buttons', which came out later on, are even better albums.
