I ripped my first HD movie to my harddrive. Roughly 28gbs. I tried to run it through handbrake like a normal DVD and it doesn't work. Any other suggestions?

I've got a Mac and Windows machine. So programs on either OS are fine.

What ripper did you use? I use MacTheRipper and it works just fine. You can also rip using Handbrake.

Personally, I rip with MTR until I have 5 or 6 movies and then I use Handbrake to encode them all for :apple:TV using it's queue. Handy, and it's easier on my DVD drive.

I used AnyDVD HD to rip my HD-DVD. Now I need to encode it. Handbrake isn't finding the titles. I don't think it does HD movies.

Have you tried visual hub? (Handbreak does not support HD as you found out)
