my friends broke her ipod a while ago, it was showing the sad file, i told her id try adn fix it, i got it to work by opening and letting the mosture in it dry out, it now works perfect...

anyway, she no lnger has a computer, but her ipod has 2000 songs on it. I want to back up her songs in case her ipod does die and i cant fix it again.
it is a windows formatted ipod, is ther any way i can copy all the songs onto my mac?
what pogram can i use?
and if i cant get them onto my mac, can i get them onto a pc with some program?

any help would be great...

ipod rip was the best...

it had a free trial (i only needed it once) and it only took liek 15 minutes to copy all 2000 from the ipod tothe computer, it even put the artists into folders like i tunes does....

you can use podutil and it will definatley work with a windows formatted ipod as i have done it before with one onto a mac
