Ripping blu-rays using MakeMKV & Mojave

I'm having trouble ripping blu-rays using MakeMKV 1.12.2 and macOS Mojave developer beta 4 using a Pioneer BDR-XD04 revision 1.10 firmware. Disk spins for a bit then gets ejected. Anybody else? Maybe the drive has died. There is a clicking sound about once every few seconds while the disk spins. It was working on DP2
