Ripping CD - Log File Missing

Hello,

I'm ripping a CD to flac on my mac for the first time. I'm running El Capitan 10.11.6 and using XLD 20161007.

The audio on the CD is aiff. It rips to flac ok but no log file is created. And I do have the option checked in preferences to always create a log file.
