Ripping copy controlled (emi label) album in itunes.

Has anyone ripped a copy controlled album (emi label) in itunes.
I have this album 'The Rolling Stones - A Bigger Bang' purchased about 2 years ago when labels were still releasing copy controlled albums and want to rip it in itunes. The problem is will it rip properly or will the file be corrupted.
I was afraid that it might damage the drive so I have not yet tried ripping all these years.
Anyone ripped such an album?

It shouldn't damage the drive (and if it does they're liable). It may or may not rip though.

I've ripped plenty of EMI copy-controlled CDs, no damage to the drive. They can take some time to mount in the Finder and iTunes with lots of seeking, though.

And one in particular — a Talking Heads album — just wouldn't rip properly, so I just dragged the aiff files onto my desktop and moved them into iTunes before converting them to AACs.
