Has anyone spent some time loading dvd's on to the Air. I'm undecided whether to buy the Air(1.6) or a 2.2 Blackbook and am wondering how long it takes to rip a dvd onto the hard drive from the superdrive.

ripped two dvds with extras using mactheripper and it took forty minutes, give or take (about ten minutes longer than my 2.16 macbook). the entire process, from rip to burn/disc verification using toast, took about an hour and a half. if you skip verification, you could probably do it all in an hour and fifteen.
