Ripple effect on series 3 screen

I was comparing my S0 with my S3 LTE and notice how different the screen is. The LTE S3 aluminium has a ripple effect that can be seen in certain lighting when the screen is off whereas the S0 doesn’t. What’s that about? Thanks

It's not abnormal. There were previous threads on this from what I recall and other forum members had the same thing. It's nothing to be concerned with. I'm not entirely sure what it is, but it might have something to do with the adhesive.
