rumors have it that the 2012 13 and 15 inchers will be blade like
that means soldered memory, no room for optical drive to replace with ssd, and paying $$$ to have anything inside replaced, if at all possible
more built in obsolescence, less ability to swap drives, ram etc thanks lord johnny ives thats wonderful design you got goin on there!
this means that your fat design 13 and 15 mbps from 2011 will only increase in value relatively speaking
and this new redesign is probably the biggest thing in the history of the mbp, making them thin like this
cousin. this is a big event
and the 2011 mbp owners will be shouting with joy

Name the source for this leak please?

thunderbolt peripherals are everywhere if you look hard enough with an electron microscope

@RWO sure but this is a topic worthy of discussion in and of itself because lets face it there are going to be a lot of disappointed 2012 would be mbp buyers around and i think the 2011 chassis will now be regarded as highly valuable

people want more ability to future proof and change ram and drives dont you think?

doesnt bother me because im deciding on a 17 incher (hp envy or the mbp 17 2012)

maybe apple is doing this to push everyone who is serious into buying the 17 inchers and then fingers crossed they will release a 19 incher because people want an all in one computer these days, a lot of people are global and dont want desktop and laptop or even laptop and external monitor
