So, today, while on my iPhone, I accidentally selected one of those "Hi how are you" spam emails. Should I be worried? The email was just text and there was a .txt attachment (which I didn't open for obvious reasons). Though I didn't click on the attachment, and being on an iPhone (since malware doesn't work on it, right?), am I still at risk of anything?

yep there's no risk of you 'getting a virus' but if there had been remote images in the email that would have told the spammer that your email address is active.

thankfully you can prevent the auto loading of remote images as described here
