I am beginning to think that it is not possible on a mac to change .rm files to a format like mp3 so that I can put it in my itunes library ready for transfer to my ipod. Is there any software around that will do this? All I can find is only suitable to a windows operating system. I am on mac os 10.4.11... a powerbook..

Well, that depends on how much frustration you want to go through. I tried this method to convert some rm video files, but it was a real hit-and-miss procedure. I would think that it might go a bit easier with just audio, but I have never tried it. And I don't think that you have to get the other version of some of the codecs, I think that was just intel machines, but I can find the links if you do end up needing them.

Thanks

...very much for the advice. On the face of it it looks overwhelming but I will have a go at it over the next few days and I'll get back to you...thank you so much for that...
