This is a warning!
Do not upgrade el - capitan to Sierra, battery drains so fast...
I did restore el - capitan after one day and two charges.
No the battery life is back

whatever happened to you, didn't happen to everyone. next time, you can ask for help (that's what these forums are for... sorta
). perhaps reinstalling sierra would have fixed it.these' WARNING!!' posts are tiresome. the sky is not falling; if there's a problem, ask for help...

it is helpful info, but it's about what's happened for you, and hardly needs to be a 'warning', as if all macbook users would have that problem. anyway... all good, i am not the forum police... (am reminding myself of that)
