I have a rMBP that i dont know yet if it will be rescued from a failed boot.
The 3 beeps at start and black screen sugest a memory problem.
Since i expect that the sad 512gig memory card to be intact.

Do any of you know if i could install this ssd memory card in the pcie port the new 2013 i5 27 iMac has?

Thanks for the input.

The SSDs in all the Haswell Macs (except probably the cylindrical Mac Pro, which is probably an XP941) fit into each other.

Question

Dead Retina macbook pro, failed logic board, too expensive to repair.

the 512 gig ssd is in good condition.

Can i install this ssd in an 27 i5 late 2013 iMac? so i can have ssd memory working with the 1 TB HDD it already has?

Is this possible?

If it's the same rMBP in your other thread, then no. The Haswell-based Macs (iMac, rMBP etc) all share the same PCI-e connector on their SSDs, but the previous generation rMBP's connector is not compatible with it.
