Hey,

I just got a 13" rMBP mid 2014 and having it connected through thunderbolt to my Samsung u28d590 but the max resolution i get at 60Hz is the one shown below. Any idea how I can get true 4k at 60hz ?

AFAIK Intel Iris iGPU in that machine is not capable to that.
Check the other threads in this forum on the same topic.
 
You need Iris Pro graphics (15" rMBP) for that.

You can do 4k at 30 Hz but you will notice a screen flicker.
