I've finally decided to replace my 2011 15 inch MBP.

I was ready to pull the trigger for the 13inch 128gb but then I looked at the refurbs. I've found the 2014 to be like $250 cheaper.

I'm sure performance wise there is not a real world difference for my workflow at least so basically it all comes down to the new trackpad.

Do you guys believe that the trackpad worth the $250 extra? Is there anything else important setting the two Mbps apart?

I mean ok faster ssd CPU and GPU but are they making a real difference ?

Not a real difference, but the resale value will be higher with the 2015 ones because:

1. Force Touch
2. 4K @ 60 Hz support
3. Broadwell
4. 4-lane PCIe
5. OpenCL 2.0 support (the Iris 5100 doesn't support it).
