Hi all,
Sorry if this has been discussed (I couldn't find anything).
I use my 15" retina macbook pro (mid 2012) along with an external HDMI monitor from LG (Flatron IPS224). It's connected directly via HDMI cable. No adapters.
Every now and then the external monitor cuts out, goes black (as if the HDMI cable has been disconnected). After about 1-2 seconds, the image comes back. I can't figure out why this happens. I have gfxCardStatus running and I'm pretty sure it is not related to graphics card switching.
I'm running Mavericks (10.9) and this has been happening since I first got the mac (I believe it came with Lion).
I've found another thread elsewhere about it, but it hasn't helped.
Anyone has any input about this?
Thanks!
