Is it possible to downgrade the rMBP 15" 2012 to Lion? Cause if I buy a laptop I would prefer it if my three macs were running the same OS.

I'm not too sure you can. You would first have to put it in Target Disk Mode and have a different Mac erase the SSD so it has no OS, then again use Target Disk Mode to install Lion onto the disk. But the laptop may then refuse to boot into the OS.

I'm only not sure about it because my 2012 15" non-retina MacBook Pro would not boot when I installed a hard drive that had Lion installed. The drive was brand new out of my 17" MBP.
