Recently purchased the relatively new 29" Widescreen monitor from LG (29EA93-P) to replace my ageing Thunderbolt display. Fantastic monitor in Windows with its 21.9 Aspect ratio.
Just have one problem and that's with the Mac and OSX.
I cannot seem to get the correct resolution or quality settings to output from the rMBP in either HDMI or Mini display port. Everything just looks incredibly pixelated and low quality.
I have researched this a little and found out I needed to force the resolution through SwitchResX and have done so. Unfortunately everything still looks pixelated. (In comparison to Windows).
Has anyone had experience with something similar and what would be your recommendations for getting this to display correctly in OSX?
