Not millions. Tens of thousands, perhaps in the hundreds at the moment.

I think he means dollars, not units. Unless you're suggesting Apple has only sold 30 rMBPs and they've got the janitor taking one to the post office each day. ;)

If Amazon UK will get rMBP only in 1. September does that mean Authorized Resellers in Europe won't get them faster?

Wow and the weird thing is that i cannot find any updated 2012 non retina macbook pros on the UK amazon store. >:l i believe this will continue for a while ( the long time delivery's for the retina macbook pros) because there is such high demands for these machines its unbelievable, i am so glad that i had got it much earlier than it had said. I hope for the people waiting, that they don't have to wait longer than what Apple has promised.

Apple supply themselves first, followed by preferred retailers like DSG (PC World) and John Lewis. Amazon are way down the list, especially as they discount.

You can buy one straight away from pc world, not to mention in store in London , Harrods have them in stock. Not sure about the huge demand, all comes down to how many they are actually supplying.

As for amazon, they never get stuff first as they discount.
