rMBP and BootCamp SSD Question

I will need to make a small partition on my new rMBP for Windows 7 when it arrives. I have read before that there are certain steps one should go through when using an SSD with Windows 7.

I was wondering if anybody can shed a little light on this subject for me. Is this true? If so, what do I need to do in Windows 7 to keep my SSD performing well?
