rMBP and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare

Ok, hopefully someone here can help me out with this. I bought COD4 from the app store about 2 days ago. While I'm not mainly concerned with single player because it will run almost anything you throw at it. I'm trying to get multiplayer to run smoothly. While I constantly get between 60-91FPS in multiplayer at 1440x900 ( see below for all details ) I notice there is a slight choppiness while mainly looking left to right. I been toying with the settings for almost 2 days now. I noticed by selected 16:9 instead of auto I got much more smoothness, but its still not quite there. Can anyone help? Preferably someone who plays COD 4 on their MBP

That choppiness is probably the frame rate dipping as you look left to right.

I figured it out. Its punkbuster. Thats pathetic. Im going to try and see if I can update punkbuster somehow.

It could very well be. I remember punkbuster giving me stuttering issues in Crysis when I was getting 50+ FPS.
