rMBP and Fusion/Bootcamp Scaling

So how well does the rMBP manage with Fusion VMs and Bootcamp? Been thinking of replacing my 13" MBA with the 13" rMBP when they get updated, but the Windows scaling issues has me curious - how bad does it look?

I would run it scaled in OSX as well at the 1440x900-like retina setting, and would look to doing 1440x900 in Fusion VMs and Bootcamp.

Just wondering how bad its going to look with the scaling, or if it isn't bad at all?

Can't speak to bootcamp, but didn't much care for the look of VMs on my 15" rMBP. I ended up running native and used the accessibility options and such in windows 7 to make it useable. This might be a bigger problem on a 13". I also don't use the VMs every day or for extended periods of time.

Windows 8.1 which is supposed to come out this fall is supposed to handle DPI scaling a lot better:
