I just want to share how my rMBP and iPad look with Sticker skin I choose silver carbon because it match better with the aluminum and the texture has some grip

the skin makes the rMBP feel stronger because before it was kind of flimsy on the bottom cover when I grab the machine now it feels more like a flat piece of aluminum also the carbon fiber isolates the heat when using in my lap

I think this is the closest experience to a naked macbook or ipad without sacrificing the size and weight , never really liked cases that make the ipad look thicker and heavier same goes for the macbook

sorry for my bad English

Could you take a picture of the bottom panel. Are there cut outs for the screws and how well aligned is the skin overall?

its not for me, but equally it does look pretty good - especially the apple logo when lit.

How difficult was it to get the corners down on the iPad? I picked up a clearance Dodocase Bookback sticker for the iPad but it doesn't wrap around the edges and I'd like that protection.

Nice, that looks pretty cool, esp. the lit Apple logo.

Does anyone know why sticker boy becomes censored when typed out as one word?

Can you elaborate?

They probably didn't pay their advertising fees or something so the macrumors goons had to be sent out to teach them a lesson. Or the company tried to sure macrumors because some user posted a bad review of their products and so the company tried to accuse macrumors of libel. That's normally what happens on forums.

point of interest: there's no such thing as SILVER carbon fibre, carbon fibre is ALWAYS black (with the exception of the Koenigsegg Trevita) silver is actually a material called texilium, red is kevlar and I can never remember what blue composite material is

I will when I get home

it wasn't that hard you need an hair dryer to do the corners there is videos on youtube

Sorry not for me, looks like a good fit all the same. I have never liked skins and so forth, the anodised aluminium wears very well in general.

you right not for everybody

So, is this _glued_ or stuck somehow to the computer?

How do you know how or if it will come off years from now?

Who would take that chance, other than the OP?

It's not glued. You can peel it off at any time.

How do I know? I had an 11" Air with something very similar to this. Used it for over a year, peeled it off with no residue or discoloration to the laptop.

What. No.

Pretty sure the milled aluminium is quite rigid enough...

Have it on my Air.
There are cutouts for all screws and rubber feet. Nothing is blocked.

Peels off in one piece if you get tired of it.
Sold in pieces too if you just want to cover the top, bottom, or keyboard area.

Ive use skint before. I guess same material 3M decals. Yup I put it on my HP notebook no residue left behind. But peeling it off is about tricky as it gets. At one point I thought I rip off the top panel off the LCD.
