Opted for the base 15" model. I have a 13" 2009 MBP.
Kinda kicking myself for not getting the 512 SSD and it is overkill for my needs in a laptop, but being recently promoted I decided to treat myself. I've also been desensitised to anything other than a retina display... Damn iPhones & iPad!

The display is stunning, now to check for issues...

no UI stuttering when using intel 4000? mine has a lot if i for example maximize using the green button on any app, scrolling mails stutter, all in itunes 11 is unusable, logic pro lags when changing the size of "windows" and when scrolling in the mixer view.. just some examples, just wondering if a new machine would have this problem?
