I've had this problem with audio stuttering in iTunes for a while and it's annoying. First I thought it happens because my library is on external drive, but then I heard it doing on Spotify and Youtube so my theory was wrong. After 2.0 update it significantly became worse for me.
Coincidentally I've found how to get rid of it. I had an impression that stuttering comes when computer wants to switch graphic card, and for some reason it wants to do that constantly while playing music, however it won't switch because playing music is not graphic intense task.
So I wanted to prevent switching graphics and put gfxCardStatus on Integrated Only, and now I'm enjoying nice audio from my Boston Acoustics!!!
