rMBP battery % not updating

So I did a lot of searches for this issue and it appears that the 6s is the most talked about in terms of this glitch but this is happening on my Late 13' rMBP...

Anyone know a fix for this?

Do you have iStat installed?

Is it stuck at a certain level?

Run it down a bit and then see if pops back up. My rMBP will do this once in a while, where its stuck at 96% or something and the power connector is showing green. I run completely off the battery and for a bit and start charging it and that fixes the issue

it was stuck at 100% then I turned off the "show percentage" and then back on and it would adjust to the correct one.

If I went into system pref it would show the accurate % but the top wouldn't for some reason. It got stuck at 9x% once too as I ran this laptop without it being plugged in for almost 4 hours just to see how it acts.

Do you have iStat installed?

I do not have istat, i had coconut on my old mac but I thought i read it doesn't work for el capitan so I didn't look into it.
