rMBP + Battlefield 3

On my 15" 2010 MBP, I play Battlefield 3 on 1280 x 800 on medium settings. But the game doesn't look crisp because i'm not running it on 1680 x 1050 which is the native resolution of my display.

Since a rMBP can't run Battlefield 3 at 2880 x 1400 (or whatever the retina resolution is), won't the game not be crisp also?

It looks crisp at 1440x900.
