Question: Does the lit Apple logo on the back of your monitor flash off for a split second when changing resolution while in Boot Camp?

I noticed something a couple days ago and I wanted to confirm if anyone else experiences the same thing with their Retina MacBook Pro (or any other MacBook for that matter). In Mac OS X, when I switch resolutions, the screen resizes and that's the end of it. Under Windows 7 in Boot Camp, the experience is somewhat different. I have all drivers up to date, as well as the latest NVIDIA drivers from the NVIDIA website. When I change resolution (or when a program does it automatically, like a game), not only does the screen switch resolutions, but the Apple logo on the back of the monitor blinks off briefly as the screen switches and there's a distinct 'clicking' sound, which I believe to be the power being completely cut from the screen for a millisecond before power is returned as the screen 'blinks' into a new resolution. Does anyone else have the same experience? I can confirm that I cannot hear the noise when changing resolutions in OS X and the Apple logo stays lit throughout the whole process.
