It states that some computers can provide up to 1100mA.
Here it is sending 2100mA (equivalent to their updated "fast" iPad charger) to an iPad.

I wonder if the non-USB 3.0 computers can send the same amount of current. An iPhone will show as 500mA + 500mA.
