Hello everyone,

I've just realized that my USB3.0 port on the right-hand side won't charge or recognize my iPhone/iPad (the one next to the HDMI port).

Other port next to the thunderbolt ports functions just fine.

So far I tried 4 different cables, didn't make a difference. It also runs my USB flash-drives or 2.5" USB2.0 HDDs just fine.

What would be the problem? Is this within the specs of rMBP, like it supports iPad/iphones on one port only?

Thanks for your replies!

Have you tried restarting your Mac?
Also is there rust/dirt/dust/etc on your USB port?

Yes, several times. Even tried on BootCamp (win7), it was even worse, both port was unable to charge the iPad (it was what iPad was showing).

My rMBP is ~3 weeks old, there is no dirt in the port.
