Hi All,

I have a new rMBP. I have a brand new Thunderbolt 27" cinema display and another from a few years back that is Display Port based.

Am I able to use both of them in conjunction with the MacBook Pro in a dual monitor setup?

Thanks,

Sure.
On two ports it is very easy. If you want to daisy chain on one port, it may still work if the new display is the first one in the chain. I am not sure though. DP 1.2 allows for daisy chaining (with a DP 1.1 at the end of the chain) and a new imac has that but the Thunderbolt display may only daisy chain TB displays.
In theory TB 2.0 has DP 1.2 with it.

If you use both TB ports it should definitely work.
