Hi guys,
Im on a good path to exchange my oldie - mid 09' MacBook White - to rMBP 2015 128GB & RAM upgrade. My questions:

1. Im going to use it in clamshell mode with two Dell E2414H 1080p monitors connected via DVI. What is the best dongle to buy? I mean Thunderbolt -> DVI. And what about any input lag? Do I need to worry about it? My MB White is struggling with one 1080p using MiniDVI -> DVI connection, and there is quite a lot of lag.
2. Is it a good idea to store and run VMs (Im using VMware Fusion) from a USB 3.0 drive? Im affraid that one VM with Windows 7 on it will take too much space...

Thanks for answers.

You're going to dearly regret the 128GB SSD. It's too small to be flexible enough for storage.

Get the 256GB variant and store your VM in an external drive that has UASP support. A VM running off a standard HDD in an enclosure without UASP support is pretty slow.
