I connect my 15" rMBP daily to an external monitor in clamshell mode, and sometimes when I disconnect it, my wallpaper will just turn to solid light gray.
What's weird is that if I'm moving between spaces (4 finger swipe), my wallpaper turns back to normal (solid black in my case), until the swipe animation stops and then it turns back to solid gray.
The only "fix" I've found is to either reboot, either plug and unplug my external display again until it gets back to normal.
If I try to change my wallpaper during this bug occurs, nothing happens, I don't see the new wallpaper, not even during spaces transitions.
I tried repairing disk permissions without success, and it's starting to bug me since my rMBP is in this weird condition like half the time. It seems to have started when I upgraded to 10.8.3.
Here's a video so you get a better idea.
Does anyone have this problem as well? Any fix?
