rMBP lag on OS X Mavericks - fixed?

Saw this in another thread and thought it merited its own:

Any sort of 'lag in the UI' is completely gone in 10.9. I am part of the AppleSeed program, obviously i cannot say too much, it is leaps and bounds faster.

Anyone else using Mavericks on their rMBP able to confirm this/share their experience in regards to lag? Pretty substantial news for rMBP users.

I can't comment on this as I am not a dev or haven't used mavericks, BUT, it seems to me they have had a big issue resolved the lag problem on rMBP on Mountain Lion.

It's my suspicion they have moved their efforts to focus on fixing this completely in Mavericks, and just made it acceptable in Mountain Lion.

Sounds about right. Reading about the FPS for stuff as trivial as scrolling through a Facebook newsfeed on Mountain Lion hovering at 20-30 below an equivalent cMBP is tough.
