Hello everyone

I have recently had to swap rubber feet on my MacBook Pro. While I had it opened I decided to also change thermal compound as factory one was 5 years old. I've done that stuff many times before with PCs.

I didn't record temps before swapping thermal compound and I'm not really sure if procedure was successful or not. Therefore if anybody here has 13" rMBP Late 2013 with 2.4GHz Core i5, I'd welcome help.

I have run newest Cinebench three times, one after another. On each of three runs temperature stayed between 89-94C degrees at ambient temperature of 31C degrees and fans topped at:
  • First run: 2300RPM,
  • Second run: 2800RPM,
  • Third run: 3400RPM.
MacBook scored 255/256 points depending on run. Right after test temperature drops immediately to 70C and then quickly to 50C.
GPU test while much shorter nearly immediately sent Intel GPU temps to 100C degrees. Fans span up to about 3700RPM and temperature lowered somewhat. Then test ends as it's very short.

My idle temperatures, as I write this with just Safari and Mail open, are 48C degrees at ambient temperature of about 31C degrees (fans at nearly 1300RPM).

If anybody with the same model could run these tests same way and post temps, I'd be most grateful.
