rMBP mid 2012 boot times

Just upgraded to Yosemite and i am seeing up to 16 seconds of boot time in my rMBP mid 2012.
Previously it took only 8 seconds with mavericks, is this right?

I have a 2012 15" rMBP running 10.10. It takes about 8 seconds to boot.

Do you have FileVault enabled? I noticed its a little slower with FV turned on.
