I'm looking to get an external display, possibly a dual set up. I'm torn on what to get. Part of me says: get the thunderbolt display, but then I'm interested in getting the Korean QNIX 27 display port monitors.

would you be ever so kind and share your set up, along with feedback?

thanks in advance.

ASUS PB278Q.

Most reasonably priced 1440p IPS display I've seen.

DELL U2713HM
miniDisplayPort(Thunderbolt) to DisplayPort with Macbook Air 2011

I am using a HKC 25x14 27" monitor.

It has a little backlight bleed but is very vibrant and great color. All for less than $250. Which i think is an amazing deal.

It does not have a dp port though, so to get full resolution you have to use HDMI.

After searching this forum a little more I've read that a lot off macrumor users love the pb278q. I thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these bad boys soon.

Is there cheapest place to buy it over at BH Photo? I'm in socal so I'd like to avoid tax and our recycling fee

I wouldn't know. I purchased mine from Amazon.

Does BH allow exchanges for dead pixels or backlight bleed? I was lucky to get a unit with zero bleed or defective pixels.
