I finally decided to go pick up my rMBP tomorrow after the disappointment today. I then forgot about the back to school promotion. Does anyone have an idea when that typically occurs?

I've googled past years and last year was June 11th, year before that was 16th.

Any word yet on if it will be a 100$ gift card again? The last time I did the promotion, I received a discount, ipod touch, and printer. I am hoping that the iPad Mini rumor comes true!

Also, I am a teacher. The promotion works for teachers I am assuming, correct?

Yes. Educational discount applies to teachers. Last year the BTS special was a $100 App store card, also could be used in iTunes.
The printer deal has been discontinued.
