I have a question that i have been unable to find an answer to.

If i run the 13inch at native panel resolution using switch res or the like and play 4k Youtube I'm guessing this renders correctly at the videos resolution.

Im guessing if i play back at best for retina it will also render correctly.

If i use a scaled resolution will the video playback at the scaled resolution selected or the match the resolution of the video if supported by the panel.

Is it just the UI that is scaled and video plays at the available res or is it everything.

What I'm basically saying do the videos play at there resolution regardless of the scaling used as long as its below the monitors native max res

Thanks i have been unable to find an answer.
