Hi

I bought a second hand mid 2012 rMBP 15" and later on discovered about 15 dead pixels, 3 of them bright.

Would there be any cover or offer of replacement from Apple? They have in the past done this kind of thing for me - in one instance replacing a fried motherboard on a MBP that was 3 years out of warranty.:D

Thnx:)

If you're out of AppleCare/Warranty, I doubt it. But its the luck of the draw of what genius you get. Why not go up to the apple store and try? The worst they can say is No.

got mine replaced, but the dead pixels appeared in no time once again.. it's absolutely insane the amount of dead pixels on this machine, along with the UI lag.
