Hi,

So about once a week my rMBP will just freeze on me, everything becomes unresponsive and I have to force restart the Macbook, however it boots in about 10 seconds and runs fine after that.

Someone suggested it could be something to do with Adobe Flash however the last time it froze I was on a website with little to no flash (ultimate guitar).

I wondered if it was a lack of storage, however I still have 65GB of storage left.

Does anyone know why its doing this?

Many Thanks.

Its certainly not lack of storage.
Are you using chrome or safari. Chrome is known to cause issues with the rMBP.

My advise, turn of, uninstall flash, then see if it happens again, if not you know it is Flash, but, you say once a week so you have to live without Flash for a week.

I'd go with justperry's advice remove flash for a while to see if that is the cause

Ok, so if I find out its Flash, what would I go about doing?

I tried reinstalling Flash however the problem still occurs.

Oh, and update to 10.8.4 if you haven't done so, it flies on my 2012 Mini.

Live without it or have crashes, you can still use youtube if you switch to the html5 player, option on youtube.
Reinstalling does nothing, it is just a plugin which resider in the Folder internet plugins in your main Library.

Uninstalled Flash and will report back if that was the problem, also gonna update to 10.8.4 now.

Thanks for the help guys, much appreciated.

Actually I recommend doing one first, like updating first with Flash installed, if it doesn't happen again it was a bug in OS X together with 3rd party software.
