rMBP - Slow keyboard response after wake or USB insertion?

Howdy...

I'm having an odd, minor issue with my rMBP 15"...

Whenever it wakes, the machine comes on fairly fast, but the keyboard will not respond right away. It take an additional 10-15s of nothing happening before I can type into my password box.

Similarily, I've noticed that after I plug in a USB device, such as a flash drive or external HD, the keyboard becomes unresponsive for around 5-10s. Then it comes back, and everything is ok..

Anyone else see this or have a solution?

Don't know about the USB but the keyboard lag is not a bug it is a feature--there are many threads here about it. It only happens (at least by my observation) when you are on battery power. But after a certain amount of time, the OS puts all memory to SSD and when wakeup is initiated, it takes a bit for memory to be restored--this is done to preserve battery power when asleep. There are ways to defeat it and I'm sure you can find it in one of the threads--or someone will post it here. To me, it seems a reasonable approach to save battery power.
