rMBP speakers buzz/cracking noises

Hey guys
For all those who got the rMBP, do you guys experience occasional cracking sounds from the speakers whenever you play youtube videos/music from iTunes? (is it because of volume being too high)???

Is it a normal thing?

Yes. It is probably distortion either because the sound quality of the clip is bad, or because the sound card/speakers cannot handle such a loud volume.

And yes, there is the faint possibility your speakers/sound card are malfunctioning but to discern that by ear would be difficult unless it was painfully obvious or present at all volume levels on a multitude of tracks.

oh interesting... coz it sometimes appear sometimes it doesnt....
will water/moisture be one of the reasons affecting it? I really don't want to get this laptop checked up when I only used it for 1 month....

I'll probably ask the Apple Genius then
