rMBP - SSD noise when veryfying/repairing disk permissions?

Hi guys,
I just would really appreciate if some rMBP users could check their if they can also hear some additional squealing/high pitched (kind of like hdd) noise when running Disk Utility repair permissions/verify permissions on your SSD?

I have been troubled by that noise and the only help i got at a Genius Bar was an offer to check the unit, but it would take 5-6 days and I can't stay so long without a computer...

SSDs have no moving parts, so what you're hearing is not them. Without your computer I can't be absolutely sure, but it sounds like your fans to me. That being the case, them spinning up when aggressively accessing your SSD is normal.
