Wondering if anyone had any insight into some frustrating behaviours I'm seeing with my 2013 rMBP. Currently running OS X Yosemite (10.10.2).
Attempting to use Airplay on any of the Apple TVs around the house (ATV2 and 3 in various rooms, all up to date), causes Finder to crash completely. I get a never ending beachball when I attempt to move my cursor across any of the icons along the right hand side toolbar. A rare few times, the beachball stops and I get a message saying that a connection has not been possible, but more often than not, I have to reset my entire machine.
Recently, and more annoyingly the same issue occurs when connecting my B&W MM-1s via the headphone jack. The only reason I even used this instead of USB was because my system would lock up. I tried connecting via USB again, and it's absolutely fine again.
Usually for both scenarios, I've had to hold down the power button and force the machine to power down, because it becomes completely unresponsive.
Any advice would be great before I take it to the Genius Bar (which never seems to have appointments
